At Marietta's Town Hall Museum, built in 1847, you can view a collection of artifacts from Lancaster County's past, including a country store, Civil War library, a dungeon cell and Marietta's first fire engine. Sixty percent of Marietta is listed in the Historic Register, whose officials say holds the some of the best maintained Civil War attractions and artifacts.
