The society features a mid-19th tobacco barn (above) that has been converted into its museum. The barn originally sat on the Graver farm but was donated to the society in 1994 by Camilla L. Huepenbecker. The barn was disassembled and reconstructed on the society's grounds with the help of the local Amish community, they are among the small group of people who know how to construct such a building. The museum features all the necessary climate control and security elements to properly house historic artifacts.
The ground floor area is where the annual museum display is held, upstairs are a number of displays, including pews from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Safe Harbor; a tobacco stripping area, our Conestoga Wagon and more.
The society is located in the Alex Ehrlich Memorial Park, behind the Conestoga Wagon Restaurant and next to the Conestoga Community Pool.
