Ingredients:
1 stick butter; 1 C. sugar; 1 egg; 2 C. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. ground cloves; 1 tsp. cinnamon; Pinch salt; 2 C. chopped apples; 2/3 C. chopped pecans
Preparation:
Cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat again. In a bowl, sift dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan; bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cook, sprinkle with powdered sugar. IDEA: Warm and slice for breakfast or serve under a dip of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
