Ingredients:
1 small onion, chopped; 1/2 stick butter; 1/4 C. flour; Salt and pepper to taste; 1 C. chicken broth; 2-1/2 C. milk; 2 C. broccoli, cooked slightly; 1 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour and salt and pepper. Cook and stir until smooth. Add broth and milk all at once. Cook until thick. Add broccoli; simmer and stir. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
