Lemon Pound Cake
by: The Tin Bin 

Ingredients:
1 C. butter, soft; 1-1/2 C. sugar; 5 eggs; 2 C. flour; 1 T. baking powder; Dash salt; 1/4 C. fresh lemon juice; 1 tsp. lemon extract; 1 tsp. lemon rind, grated

Preparation:
Cream butter, lemon juice, extract and rind. Add sugar (mix 5 minutes with electric mixer). Add eggs (one at a time) and milk. In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add to wet ingredients. Grease bottom of loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool in pan. Sift powdered sugar on top.
