Cherry Cheese Coffee Cake

Ingredients:
One 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, soft; 1/3 C. powdered sugar; 1 egg, separated; 1/2 tsp. vanilla; 2 pkgs. crescent rolls; 1 C. cherry pie filling; 1/2 C. powdered sugar; 1 to 2 tsp. milk

Preparation:
In bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg yolk and vanilla; mix until smooth. Unroll crescent rolls; keep aside 4 triangles for decoration; arrange 12 triangles on pizza pan (points toward center). Seal seams and cut out center of dough (3" circle). Spread cream cheese mixture and top with pie filling. Make 12 strips with other 4 triangles. Twist and arrange like spokes. Brush top with egg white. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Drizzle with icing made with powdered sugar and milk.
