Applesauce Cake
by: The Tin Bin 

Ingredients:
2 C. flour; 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. allspice; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 tsp. cloves; Dash of salt; 3/4 C. butter, soft or oil; 1 C. dark brown sugar; 1/2 C. white sugar; 2 eggs, beaten; 1-1/3 C. applesauce; 2/3 C. sour cream; 3/4 C. chopped walnuts; 3 T. Grand Marnier (opt.); 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation:
Combine sifted dry ingredients (first 6). Cream butter and sugars; add eggs, applesauce. Add dry ingredients, fold in sour cream and nuts and Grand Marnier and vanilla. Bake in a greased and floured springform pan or a 9x13" pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Caramel frosting is great!
