Ingredients:
2 C. sugar; 1 C. oil; 2 tsp. vanilla; 1 tsp. salt; 3 eggs, beaten; 3 C. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 C. chopped nuts; 3 C. chopped apples
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients, mixing dry ingredients separately. Add dry to wet and bake in a greased and floured 9x13" pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour. For a glaze, in a saucepan, cook 1 cup brown sugar, 1/8 cup milk and 1 stick of butter for 3 minutes. Pour glaze over warm cake.
