Ingredients:
1 qt. berries, washed and drained; 3/4 C. water; 3 T. cornstarch; 1 C. sugar; 1 T. lemon juice; Whipped cream or Cool Whip; 1 baked pie crust
Preparation:
In a saucepan, put 1 cup of the berries in water and simmer for about 4 minutes. Add cornstarch, sugar and cook until syrup is thick and clear. Remove from heat, add lemon juice and cool. In baked pie crust, arrange all but 1 cup of remaining berries. Pour syrup over berries. Put 1 cup berries on top. Chill and serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
