Ingredients:
1/2 C. onion, chopped; 1/4 C. butter; 1 can cream of chicken soup; 2 lbs. frozen hash browns; 1 C. sour cream; 1/3 C. milk; 2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese ^^ TOPPING: 2 T. butter, melted; 1 C. cornflake crumbs
Preparation:
Heat butter and soup; add onion and cheese. Stir until melted (set aside). Add sour cream and milk. Mix this sauce with potatoes until coated. Place in 2-1/2 quart shallow casserole. Put on topping (butter and cornflakes). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
