Ingredients:
12 bratwurst weiners; 2 cans beer; 3 pts. water
Preparation:
Simmer bratwurst in beer and water for at least 2 hours. Preheat outside grill and grill until desired crispness. Not too long; don't dry out! Serve on fresh Italian rolls. Serve with any or all of the following: sauteed onions, hot sauerkraut, gourmet mustards, pickle relish. Good bratwurst can be found at the German stand of most Farmers Markets. Johnsonville is a good brand.
