Layered Salad

Ingredients:
1 head lettuce, cut into bite-size pieces; 1 C. celery, diced; 4 eggs, hard boiled and sliced; one 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas; 1/2 C. diced bell pepper; 1 Vidalia onion, sliced thin; 8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled; 1-1/2 C. salad dressing; 2 T. sugar; 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Layer in a dish the lettuce, celery, eggs, peas, peppers, onion and bacon. Combine salad dressing and sugar and cover veggies as to seal. Sprinkle cheese on top; cover and refrigerate 8 to 12 hours. Garnish with bacon crumbs and fresh parsley. Serves 12.
