Ingredients:
2 C. flour; 2/3 C. sugar; 2 tsp. baking powder; Dash of salt; 1/2 tsp. baking soda; 1/4 tsp. ground cloves; 2 T. butter; 2 C. (16 oz. can) sliced peaches, chopped; 1/2 C. peach syrup; 2 eggs; 1 C. chopped walnuts
Preparation:
Blend all ingredients on low with electric mixer. Beat 2 minutes on medium. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Use a cake tester. Remove from pan while still hot. Glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
