Ingredients:
1 C. starter (see separate recipe for "Sourdough Starter"); 1/2 C. sugar; 1/2 C. corn oil; 1 T. salt; 1-1/2 C. warm water; 6 C. bread flour
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in glass or plastic bowl, using wooden spoon. (Do not use metal.) Knead dough until it feels elastic; then place dough in well oiled bowl. Cover in warm place overnight. Next morning, punch dough down and knead 10 minutes. Separate into 2 or 3 parts and place in oiled bread pan. Rub top with oil and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise another 6 to 8 hours in pans and bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
