Beef Over Rice
by: The Tin Bin 

Ingredients:
2 lbs. round steak; 4 T. butter; 1 pkg. onion soup mix; 1 can mushroom soup; 3/4 C. red wine; 1-1/4 C. water; Cooked white or wild rice

Preparation:
Saute steak in butter and place in a shallow baking dish. Combine soups, wine and water and pour over steak. Season to taste and bake covered at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Serve with rice or noodles.
